This is a terrific light. The warm white color is great---- it turns on full brightness instantly and is equivalent to a 100 watt halogen spot/flood light. Don't buy the dim and diffuse CFLs. These are expensive but worth every penny. You won't be disappointed.

I bought three of these lights directly from the supplier. They were offering a free shipping promotion. The bulbs arrived in three days, carefully packed and with no damage. The warm-white light is similar to the halogen bulbs I replaced, and the brightness is fine. They dim with my existing dimmers. They seem well built and sturdy. I am generally very pleased with them.

My only qualms so far -- slight, but noticeable flickering (really it is a slight change in light out put). It has does not happen most of the time, so I waiting to see if I can find a cause -- it may be related to energy use by other items on the same circuit. If it continues I will call the toll free customer service line for advice.

UPDATE: I have since bought 6 more of the lights and am happy with them. I relaxed the older dimmers with new electronic ones --Lutron Maestro. They eliminated the flickering, with one new issue: the dimmers require that the circuit draw at least 40-60 watts (depending on the dimmer model). I solved the issue by keeping one incandescent bulb on the circuit with the rest LEDs. This works well, although I would prefer all LEDs. I guess dimmer tech hasn't caught up with the lighting.

I received this bulb, put it into my fixture and realized it would be much too dim for my needs. I called the maker of the bulb and the representative was very pleasant. He informed me that I could return it either through them or through Amazon. I sent the bulb back to Amazon and received my credit very quickly. Thanks!
